Five people have died following a shooting at a youth centre in Stade, northern Germany, police said.
Two people have been arrested, one of whom is a suspect, according to a police spokesperson. Authorities have not released information about the victims' ages or a possible motive.
Several other people were injured in the shooting. Police said there is no further threat to the public.
A large emergency response remains at the scene, and authorities have urged people to avoid the area.
Stade, located west of Hamburg, has a population of around 50,000 people.
