Terms of Service for using BlitzNEWS (blitznews.net), including how editorial content is published to connected social accounts such as TikTok.

The service

BlitzNEWS is a news website at blitznews.net. We publish news articles and short-form video. Our editorial team also uses internal tools to prepare and publish that content to social accounts we operate, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Using the website

You may read and share links to our articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our articles or videos in bulk, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, or use the site to break the law or harm other people.

Our content

Articles, headlines, images, logos, and videos on BlitzNEWS are owned by BlitzNEWS or used with permission. The BlitzNEWS name and logo are our brand. You may not use them in a way that suggests you are BlitzNEWS or that we endorse you, except for ordinary linking and sharing.

Social publishing

BlitzNEWS may connect its own social accounts so editors can publish content from our newsroom. When a TikTok account is connected through TikTok Login, the account owner authorizes BlitzNEWS to identify that account and to post videos the newsroom sends. We post only to accounts that have been explicitly connected. Visitors reading blitznews.net are not asked to log in with TikTok.

TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms have their own terms. Content we publish there is also subject to those terms. You can disconnect an authorized account from the platform’s own app settings.

News content

We work to report accurately and to correct mistakes, but news can change quickly. Articles and videos are for general information. They are not legal, financial, or medical advice.

Liability

The site is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, BlitzNEWS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the site, from a temporary outage, or from content published by third-party platforms after we send it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date below is the latest version. Continuing to use blitznews.net after an update means you accept the revised terms.
